Premier Energies has entered into a joint venture with BA Prerna Renewables to strengthen its footprint in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segment of the renewable energy sector.
The partnership will operate through a newly formed entity, HeliosAnthos Energies, in which Premier Energies will hold a 51% stake, while BA Prerna Renewables will own the remaining 49%. The joint venture will undertake EPC contracts for solar, wind and hybrid power projects, including standalone battery energy storage systems, across India.
HeliosAnthos Energies will offer end-to-end EPC solutions, encompassing land acquisition, transmission connectivity, statutory clearances, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
The initiative aligns with Premier Energies’ strategy to expand its downstream capabilities, complement its manufacturing expertise, and deepen its participation across the renewable energy value chain. The joint venture represents a significant step in reinforcing the company’s position in India’s rapidly growing clean energy market.
