Powering Up Odisha: HG Infra Bags ₹43.11 Crore Transmission Contract

H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd. has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process conducted by PFC Consulting for the development of an inter-state transmission system under the Eastern Region Generation Scheme-I (ERGS-I) in Odisha.

The project entails the establishment of a Line-In Line-Out (LILO) of both circuits of the 765 kV Angul–Sundargarh (Jharsuguda) single circuit transmission lines at the NLC-Talabira generation switchyard. The project will be executed on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis.

The contract includes operation and maintenance responsibilities for 35 years and is scheduled for completion by March 28, 2028. The annual transmission charges for the project are valued at ₹431.11 million.
