Pace Digitek Secures Landmark ₹1,159 Cr. BESS Order from SECI

Pace Digitek has secured a ₹1,159.31 crore order from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the development of a 600 MW / 1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

Announced on 22 October 2025, the contract represents one of India’s largest single-location BESS initiatives and includes a 10-year operation, service, and maintenance agreement. Under the contract, Pace Digitek will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the project — encompassing the supply of BESS DC Blocks, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS), as well as testing, integration, and commissioning of the facility.

Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek, described the win as a milestone achievement that reinforces the company’s growing role in India’s clean energy transition. To support this project, Pace Digitek has also established a dedicated BESS manufacturing facility, underscoring its long-term commitment to advancing energy storage technologies and strengthening the nation’s renewable energy infrastructure.
