V Sathyamoorthy & Co. Wins ₹160 Cr Madurai Prison Project

V Sathyamoorthy & Co. has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a major construction contract awarded by the Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation.

The project involves the Phase-I development of a Central Prison for men at Therkkutheru Utkadai Sembur Village in Melur Taluk, Madurai District. The scope includes the construction of 113 residential quarters for prison staff, cement concrete internal roads, and a high-security perimeter wall.

Designed to enhance Tamil Nadu’s correctional infrastructure, the project focuses on delivering secure and modern detention facilities, staff accommodation, and supporting infrastructure. With a competitive bid of ₹160.12 crore, V Sathyamoorthy & Co. reinforces its role as a key contributor to public infrastructure development within the state’s law enforcement and corrections framework.
