₹342 Cr Boost to Bengaluru Suburban Rail Infrastructure

In a major boost to Karnataka’s transit infrastructure, a joint venture between RNS Infrastructure and Gayatri Projects has bagged a civil works contract valued at ₹342 crore for the Bengaluru Suburban Transport Project (BSTP).

Commissioned by the Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Company (KRIDE), the contract pertains to Corridor 4 (Kanaka Line). The scope of work encompasses the design and construction of embankments, cuttings, major and minor bridges, road underbridges (RUBs), and elevated retaining walls. Additionally, the project features an at-grade track segment and a 3.681 km elevated viaduct.

Once operational, the project will enhance suburban rail connectivity, ease urban traffic, and expand public transit access across Bengaluru. This win further solidifies the joint venture’s footprint in large-scale railway engineering and urban infrastructure development.
