Thermax Wins Big: A ₹1,600 Cr Boost for TBWES

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions (TBWES), a subsidiary of Thermax, has secured an order worth ₹1,600 crore for the supply of a boiler package for a thermal power project in Central India.

The contract is for a 1x800 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant and includes the design, manufacturing, supply, commissioning, and performance testing of the boiler package.

TBWES specializes in steam generation solutions for both process and power applications, with expertise across the combustion of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels, as well as waste heat recovery from industrial processes and turbine or engine exhaust.

This order reinforces TBWES’s strong presence in the power equipment segment and supports its continued growth in large-scale thermal projects.
