RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has been awarded a purchase order by the Ministry of Railways for upgrading e-Office systems across Zonal Railways and Administrative Units (AUs) to version 7.x, along with the integration of digital signatures (DSCs) and eSign capabilities.
The contract is valued at approximately ₹334.51 crore, excluding taxes, according to a regulatory filing by the company.
The initiative is aimed at modernising Indian Railways’ digital governance infrastructure by improving the security, efficiency, and compliance of its e-Office platform through advanced electronic authentication and upgraded workflow management systems.
