Gypsum Structural India Secures AMC Sewerage Contract

Gypsum Structural India has emerged as the L1 (lowest) bidder for a key urban infrastructure project awarded by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for the rehabilitation of sewer lines in eastern Ahmedabad.

The project follows a design-build model and focuses on upgrading critical underground sewerage infrastructure to improve sanitation and service efficiency. The scope includes end-to-end design, engineering, and execution of rehabilitation works for ageing sewer networks, aimed at enhancing flow capacity, reducing leakages, and strengthening overall wastewater management.

This initiative forms part of AMC’s broader push to modernise civic infrastructure and improve urban utility services in rapidly expanding areas. The project is expected to address infrastructure gaps in Ahmedabad’s eastern zones, where growing urbanisation has increased the need for upgraded sewer systems.
