Space-tech firm Astrobase Space Technologies plans to set up an advanced manufacturing unit in Karnataka with an estimated investment of ₹500 crore. Located across 10 acres at the Adinarayan Hosahalli Phase II SEZ, the facility will produce rocket engines, propulsion systems, and launch vehicle structures.
The project details and infrastructure needs were recently discussed in a high-level meeting between Karnataka Industries Minister MB Patil and company executives. Once operational, the facility will bolster India's commercial space ecosystem and boost domestic aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
