The Irrigation and CAD Department of Andhra Pradesh has invited bids worth Rs 511.66 crore for modernising the Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) Phase-II main canal. Spanning the Sri Sathya Sai and Annamayya districts, the project focuses on cement concrete (CC) lining and completing cross-masonry and cross-drainage works to enhance water conveyance and ensure reliable irrigation and drinking water supply to arid areas. Proposals are due by 15 October, 2026.
