In a major push to strengthen domestic manufacturing, the Union Cabinet has approved the ₹3,030 crore BHAVYA-Rasayan Scheme (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan). First proposed in the Union Budget 2026–27, the initiative focuses on building three state-of-the-art chemical parks nationwide. According to I&B Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the program aims to foster localized industrial clusters, attract substantial private investment, and position India as a competitive global hub for chemical production.
