MRPL and EIL Partner to Accelerate India's Energy Transition

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) and Engineers India Ltd (EIL) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to strengthen strategic collaboration in refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy.

The partnership aims to accelerate MRPL’s growth across critical energy sectors through EIL’s engineering consultancy and technical expertise. Key focus areas include refinery expansion, petrochemical integration, biofuels, renewable energy, energy transition initiatives, and the development of marketing infrastructure. EIL will support MRPL’s ongoing and upcoming projects by providing consultancy and execution support, aligning with MRPL’s vision of a more sustainable, future-ready energy portfolio.

The MoA was signed in the presence of Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, Managing Director of MRPL, and Vartika Shukla, Chairperson and Managing Director of EIL. This collaboration marks a significant step toward advancing India’s energy transition agenda and building domestic capabilities in both conventional and green energy domains.
