IFFCO Bengaluru: The Future of Farming is Nano

IFFCO has inaugurated its state-of-the-art nano fertiliser plant in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, marking a major milestone in advancing science-driven and precision farming in India.

Spread over 12 acres, the plant has a daily production capacity of 200,000 bottles of Nano Urea Plus. Equipped with advanced manufacturing processes and stringent quality controls, the facility reflects IFFCO’s long-term commitment to integrating science, sustainability, and farmer welfare. Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO, highlighted the role of innovation in agriculture, stating, “Science plus innovation must ultimately translate into farmer welfare.”

The new plant is expected to reduce dependence on conventional urea, especially in southern India, lower import requirements, and promote more efficient nutrient use on farms.

The initiative aligns with the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat and underscores the growing role of cooperatives in driving inclusive, technology-led growth. During the inauguration, Chairman Sanghani also reviewed the plant’s technological infrastructure and production processes.
