MGL Expands Green Portfolio with Fourth Partner Energy MoU

Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fourth Partner Energy Pvt. Ltd. (FPEL) to explore opportunities in renewable energy generation and supply for commercial and industrial customers across MGL’s operating regions.

Under the partnership, the two companies will work together to identify and develop clean energy solutions by leveraging MGL’s expertise in city gas distribution and FPEL’s capabilities in renewable energy development. The collaboration aims to address the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions while supporting India’s transition towards a low-carbon economy.

The initiative will enable MGL to expand its clean energy portfolio beyond natural gas and offer integrated renewable energy solutions to business customers, helping them improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. For FPEL, the partnership strengthens its ability to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and low-carbon energy solutions to commercial and industrial consumers.

The collaboration marks a strategic step toward providing integrated clean energy offerings that combine renewable power generation with existing energy infrastructure, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to sustainable growth and decarbonisation.
