In a significant push toward sustainable and employment-led economic expansion, the 19th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB)—chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu—has officially cleared 11 major investment proposals valued at ₹9,076.11 crore. The sanctioned projects are projected to generate 10,531 jobs across the state.
During the session, Chief Minister Naidu emphasized accelerating industrialization while fortifying the rural economy. Notably, he advocated for expanding ethanol blending targets to 40% to directly enhance income streams for local maize farmers, instructing officials to design a comprehensive policy covering ethanol, methane, and sustainable aviation fuel.
To boost the tourism sector, the Chief Minister proposed the creation of 100 dedicated Experience Centres to scale up hospitality infrastructure and market native handicrafts. Additionally, the state will mandate green energy adoption for all upcoming industrial units, fast-track connected MSME parks, and lay the groundwork for a dedicated Logistics University to support regional supply chains.
