Tesla is set to open its second showroom in India at Delhi’s premium Aerocity on August 11, following the recent launch of its first outlet in Mumbai and the debut of the Model Y. Strategically located near Indira Gandhi International Airport, the new facility marks a significant milestone in Tesla’s India expansion strategy.
The Mumbai showroom at Maker Maxity Mall in BKC currently features two imported Model Y variants from Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory. Deliveries for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version are expected by the end of Q3, while the long-range RWD variant will begin deliveries in Q4. The Model Y is priced at ₹59.89 lakh (₹61.07 lakh on-road) for the RWD and ₹67.89 lakh (₹69.15 lakh on-road) for the long-range RWD.
Tesla also launched its official India website alongside the Model Y debut, opening registrations for customers in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. This expansion signals Tesla’s deeper commitment to the Indian EV market, paving the way for future investments in retail outlets and charging infrastructure across the country.
