Accelerating the Future of Mobility: Tata Tech & Emerson Join Forces

Tata Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with US-based Emerson to deliver integrated testing and validation solutions for global automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle OEMs. The collaboration is aimed at addressing the evolving complexities of next-generation mobility.

The alliance brings together Tata Tech’s expertise in systems engineering, E/E architecture, and mobility platform development with Emerson’s software-connected test and measurement technologies. Together, they will enable faster, smarter, and more cost-efficient validation for connected, electric, autonomous, and software-defined vehicles, allowing OEMs to accelerate product development, reduce costs, and enhance market competitiveness.

“This partnership reinforces our commitment to engineering a software-defined future, helping OEMs innovate faster and deliver connected, autonomous, and sustainable mobility that enhances the customer experience,” said Nachiket Paranjpe, President and Head of Automotive Sales at Tata Technologies.

The announcement follows Tata Tech’s recent selection as a strategic supplier by Volvo Cars, supporting embedded software engineering, product development, and lifecycle management from its centers in India, Sweden, Romania, and Poland.

In a notable pilot project, Tata Tech and Emerson successfully developed EV powertrain test rigs for a European luxury OEM in just five months, cutting the traditional 15-month timeline by 67%, based on initial results.
