Raymond's ₹940 Cr Aerospace-Auto Boost for Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved two significant investment proposals from the Raymond Group, totaling ₹940 crore, aimed at setting up aerospace and automotive component manufacturing units.

These projects, to be established in the Sri Sathya Sai district, fall under the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Policy 4.0 (2024–29) and are expected to generate approximately 5,500 direct jobs. The investments represent a major boost to the state's ambitions of becoming a hub for high-value manufacturing and advanced engineering sectors.

The state government highlighted the strategic importance of these approvals in enhancing the regional industrial ecosystem, accelerating economic development, and supporting long-term employment generation. These developments align with Andhra Pradesh’s broader vision for sustainable industrial growth and large-scale private sector participation.
