Track to Tomorrow: VOC Port Dispatches 100 VinFast EVs

Demonstrating its expanding multimodal logistics capabilities, the VO Chidambaranar Port has successfully facilitated the rail dispatch of 100 VinFast electric vehicles to Ballabhgarh, Haryana. Loaded onto newly introduced New Modified Goods (NMG) wagons, the shipment originated from the port’s specialized Marshalling Yard.

Spanning 16.25 acres, the facility is equipped with dedicated RCC loading platforms, robust internal road infrastructure, and direct rail connections designed for rapid cargo evacuation. This operational milestone reinforces the port's commitment to delivering high-efficiency, purpose-built transportation solutions tailored to the growing needs of the automotive sector.
