Adani Airports to Develop 655 Acres of City-Side Infrastructure

The Adani Group’s airport division has launched a comprehensive three-phase city-side development plan spanning 655 acres across eight key airports: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Bengaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Phase 1 Highlights:

Covers 114 acres, including:

50 acres at Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Remaining area distributed across the other six airports

Focus areas: hotels, retail zones, food courts, entertainment spaces, and office infrastructure

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) has already commenced Phase-1 development, prioritizing hospitality, retail, F&B, and entertainment facilities. Phase 2 and Phase 3 will introduce a broader mix of retail and leasing options, tailored to each airport’s market dynamics.

Meanwhile, the Navi Mumbai International Airport is on track to receive operational clearance by October 2025, with initial capacity ramp-up within six months. A second terminal is also planned as part of its long-term expansion strategy.
