Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the development of a new greenfield airport at Bundi near Kota in Rajasthan.
The contract, valued at ₹393.03 crore, covers the detailed design, engineering, procurement, and construction of major airport infrastructure. The scope of work includes the construction of a new terminal building, air traffic control (ATC) tower, fire station, car parking facilities, city-side development, and other associated works. Ahluwalia Contracts will execute the complete construction package, adhering to prescribed standards of design, safety, and operational efficiency.
The greenfield airport, being developed by the Airports Authority of India, is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity, boost air travel and tourism, and support economic development in the Bundi–Kota region.
